Tips for Smooth Sailing

Reservation Changes

To avoid confusion and for our guests’ security, the person who places the reservation should be the only person to call us with any changes. When you call, be sure to have your reservation number on hand.

Smoking Policy

The Grand Lady is a non-smoking vessel.

Special Occasions

If you are scheduled to sail on a public cruise, you or your group will be one of many on board. On open cruises, speeches, banners, table decorations, etc. are not appropriate. Please respect the other guests onboard.

Seating

Every seat aboard is a good seat due to our riverboat’s panoramic windows. Seating on all cruises is community seating and you could be seated with new friends.  Table sizes range from 4 to 8 -your reservation may not have a private table and large groups may be seated at adjoining tables. Please notify us of any special needs for disabled access. We do our best to accommodate special seating requests, however, because our capacity is limited, certain seating arrangements are required depending on the group size.  Any questions may be directed to a crew member.

Parking

Parking is available in our public parking area between The Grand River and the I-196 expressway. Parking is free.

Alcohol / Beverages

There is full beverage service available on both decks of The Grand Lady. For a chartered cruise, you may arrange a cash bar, open bar, and or/beverage tickets. Any open bar or beverage tickets will be subject to an 18% service charge. NO BEVERAGES MAY BE BROUGHT ON BOARD BY CUSTOMERS! (state law) You must be 21 years old to purchase alcoholic.
